AirCon Cleaning Kit

Cleaned out lots of black gunk from my a/c unit. One possible improvement would be to make one end of the elastic clip onto the bag as it was hard to get the bottom corner of the bag to slip under the bottom corner because the elastic had to go over the inlet/outlet pipes (in my case on the right side of the unit). However I was able to get the bottom edge of the bag behind the unit and against the wall.

Great product

Was not sure about taking on the job myself. With this kit the job is straight forward - watch the video and take your time. No need to dismantle the indoor unit.

I used a compressed air gun (carefully) to dislodge the dry build up on the fan first, this greatly reduced the amount of wet sludge during the wash phase.

Go to Bunnings and get a Nylex 2Ltr pump spray bottle to do the fresh water wash down.
